Tau Ceti
Designed in 2018 by Transylvanian artist Josef Kristofoletti as an homage to the city’s diversity, this is the tallest mural in Austin. To snag a great selfie here, it’s best to aim from as far underneath as you can get the camera.
Tour highlights include:
Historic Sixth Street
i love you so much
One of Austin's iconic attractions, this mural is a love message from local musician Amy Cook in 2010 to her partner, Jo’s owner Liz Lambert, after a major drunken fight in which the two broke up. It worked - they have been together since.

Jeremiah the Innocent
A homage to legendary Austin musician Daniel Johnston’s 1983 album, this image was painted by Johnston himself for a commission in 1993. After his premature passing in 2019, the area became a memorial shrine.
Graffiti Bridge
As seen from the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge, the bridge for trains entering downtown is covered in all sorts of funky murals and graffiti. Many of these inspirational messages have become local icons over the course of the years.

This 2012 mural plays up Austin’s history as the “Live Music Capital of the World.” It marks the entrance to downtown on 6th St, the city’s main historic East-West drag, and Dirty 6th, which is the main entertainment district.
Selena/La Loteria
Painted in 1989 as a tribute to Austin’s Latino community, this mural features Selena Quintanilla, the Queen of “Tex-Mex” music. Although it was covered up for a SXSW installation in 2015, it was eventually restored due to popular demand.
